What is AInbox?

AInbox brings your channels, DMs, meeting chats, and reply threads together in one place.

Open AInbox from the bottom toolbar. You can keep it in the main Roam window or click Open in New Window in the top-right corner. In a separate AInbox window, click the Roam icon in the left rail to return to the Map.

Key Capabilities

Navigate between AInbox, Activity, DMs, Channels, Files, Threads, Meetings, and Bookmarks from the left rail.
Open a reply thread in a third panel without leaving the conversation you’re reading.
Create folders, pin important chats, and quickly find people, channels, user groups, and guests.
See unread message counts for DMs and mention counts for channels.
Search messages, or use Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux to open a recent chat or find a person or channel.
View files and pinned links from any channel or DM.
Write with rich text formatting and control notifications for each conversation.
Resize the conversation list and thread panel to fit your workflow.
