Multitouch AttributionIt’s a team effort
- Roam is a team product and can require many touchpoints across many different people at the same company before they become a customer. Our Influencer Credits are multi-touch. If you influence a sale, by influencing anyone at a company before they sign up, you get a share.
- The Influencer payout algorithm is subject to change, but we generally weigh each touch evenly and credit any influence on anyone at the company.
- The more you use Roam, the more likely you are to influence a signup, and therefore participate in the influence of a new customer.
- An Influencer Credit is an impression a new visitor has had with one of your touchpoints.
- Roam pays a percentage of collected revenue for influenced customers. If you are the only influencer who touched a customer, you get the full payout. If there are multiple influencers who touched a customer before sign-up, the payout is divided according to our multitouch attribution algorithm, which looks at Influencer Credits.
- Roam typically sees net positive dollar retention, so your recurring revenue can grow over time even for the same set of customers you’ve influenced.
Dashboard and Payments
- You get a dashboard where you can see your Influencer Credits in realtime and the projected amount you’ll be paid.
- To protect customer privacy, Roam does not reveal any details about which customers you influenced, or the share of those customers.
