In a legacy office, one of the most valuable things an executive assistant does is act as your “eyes and ears” within the company. They observe who is talking to who, they can let you know when someone frees up, they can keep you posted when someone enters the office. This scales only to what is immediately observable to the person. Unfortunately, in digital environments, this subtle signaling is lost.
When companies are distributed and people are in the field or remote, there’s no sense of where anyone is, or who is present, or what people are doing.
Of course, since Roam is in a digital environment,
On-It’s ability to observe spans the entire company, not just what a real person can see in their immediate vicinity!
- Tell you when someone enters the office.
- Tell you when it sees a certain set of people talking.
- Tell you when a certain meeting is over and the people free up.
