Theater

All The World’s a Stage 🎭
Successful people know their ideas are only as good as their ability to communicate them. And their ability to deliver them isn’t just about the message, it’s the medium.
The one-of-a-kind Roam Theater is a magical, immersive environment that gives you the ability to present your ideas in a compelling live environment that mimics a theater stage with a live audience.

Immersive Theater

Enter a theater on Broadway, for a Movie, at a Museum or at Apple Park and you’re immersed in a darker, quiet space focused on the stage.

The Roam Theater is no different. Enter and you’re instantly transported to a different place with a focused view on the curtain and the stage.
“We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.”

The Stage

Presenters walk on up to the stage. It’s not just about the message - it’s about the medium. Easily invite other people backstage or to the main stage.
“Make sure you have finished speaking before your audience has finished listening.”

Dorothy Sarnoff

American Theatre Actress

Whisper in Audience Rows

Join a row and whisper with others in the audience. Just like in a real theater, you can talk to the people next to you during the presentation. And the person on stage can’t hear you.

And, you choose your theater seat. You can move around until you find a group of people you’re most excited to sit next to and talk to. The movement creates extra energy!

Laugh, Clap & Boo in Stereo Audio

Audiences and presenters feed off of each other. This dynamic is lost completely on Zoom calls. The Roam Theater brings back the magic, starting by allowing the audience to clap, laugh and boo.

The more people who clap, the louder the clapping becomes.

The same goes for booing…
“Performance is not about getting your act together, but about opening up to the energy of the audience.”

Benjamin Zander

English Conductor

Backstage

Magic happening on the stage starts backstage.

There’s a certain anxiety in presenting. In a real theater, being able to get ready backstage - and see what’s going on backstage from the actual stage - helps presentation teams coordinate and deliver better. Being able to see the next speaker backstage and ready to go relieves anxiety and allows total focus on the moment instead of having to present while simultaneously multitasking to make sure the next speaker’s arrived and their camera is working, etc.

And from backstage, stagehands can control the screen, play media and have coordination conversations - all while the show is going on.
Curtain
Add an element of surprise to your performance to come up right before you come on stage.
Open Mic
Perfect for a Town Hall, audience members can pop up for an audio-only broadcast to the whole theater which the speaker can answer.

Audience members wishing to address everyone can queue up in first-come, first serve order behind the current speaker.
Walk On and Exit Music
Nothing pumps you or your audience up like the right music at the right time. Set your own cust om walk-on music to play when you enter the stage. Set different exit music.

Pick a leitmotif from Wagner or a familiar tone from a Nintendo Game. Make your entrance and mark your exits!
Town Halls
Hold your town halls in the Theater. It’s a different experience, the audience can more passively engage and listen and then pipe up as necessary. You’ll create a different feeling of everyone being together since audience members intentionally come into the theater.
Group Roundups
The Theater is perfect for group presentations. Say you have engineering teams of about 6 people each. Each team of 6 can enter the stage at the same time to give their update. This focuses the attention properly on the 6 people who are on stage presenting.
Magic Minutes
Capture Magic Minutes for theater presentations. The whole audience will be added to a group chat with the transcript.

You can also record video of the whole presentation.
Stadium Mode
Once more than 100 people enter your audience, your Theater automatically converts into stadium mode. You’ll see a different floor each containing about 100 people. You’ll get a preview of all the floors to the live action as the audience moves around.

Stadium mode supports presentations for as many as 2,500 people simultaneously.
Media Player
Include high quality video streaming using HLS encoding in your presentations. This is far superior than screensharing of a video, which is how alternative platforms work.

Think of the difference in quality between watching a high definition Netflix show vs. a choppier video conferencing screenshare with a low frame rate.

The professional edge makes all the difference!
Stagehand Controls
Turn off backstage access. Turn off the open mic. Create theater links. Your Stagehand is in control of the theater so you bring your total game to the presentation.

Why a Roam Theater?

  • Superior Audience Experience. Upon entering, your audience will know they’re about to see something that’s not just another video conferencing call. They’ll feel like they’re in a theater and can even whisper to others in their row.
  • Superior Presenter Experience. Backstage keeps you in control and knowing what’s going on so you can focus on delivering your message.
  • Lifelike Energy. All the people together, able to clap, boo, and laugh with amplifying effects proportional to the number of people doing it make it feel lifelike with awesome energy that feeds the live presentation.
  • Fidelity. High quality video streaming to the masses makes you look professional.
  • Group Presentations. Focused group presentations means audience members aren’t trying to look at who's talking from a grid of participants. Clearly delineate between presenters and audience members and focus on what matters.
  • The Sound of Music. Entrance music, exit music, streamed music, and audience sounds add the dimension of sound programming to your presentation. Nothing brings something to life like the sound of music.
  • Everyday Low Price.
“Music acts like a magic key, to which the most tightly closed heart opens.”
