Folders keep meetings, Magicasts, and On-Air recordings together in one shared place. Create folders for teams, projects, or customers, then add members so they can access the contents without sharing each recording individually.
Roam admins can also automatically add meetings to folders. For example, a shared Sales folder can collect matching sales meetings and make them available to everyone in the folder.

You become the folder’s Admin. The folder is only shared with you until you add members or a Roam admin adds it to a user group’s default folders.
You can add a recording to more than one folder. The menu shows folders where you are a folder Admin. You must also have access to the recording you’re adding.
To view a folder’s contents, select its name under Folders in the Recordings sidebar.
Members can access existing recordings and new recordings added to the folder, even if they weren’t participants in those meetings. Folder Admin is a role for that folder; creating or editing automatic filing rules requires a Roam admin.
To automatically add a team to a folder, a Roam admin can configure Default Folders for a user group.
In the Members tab, a folder Admin can click the three dots beside a person to choose Make Folder Admin, Remove Folder Admin, or Remove from Folder.
To leave a folder yourself, click Leave Folder in the Members tab. Every folder must have at least one Admin, so make someone else an Admin before leaving if you’re the only one.
Leaving or being removed from a folder removes the access it gave you. You may still have access to individual recordings through another folder or because they were shared with you separately.
As a folder Admin, hover over the recording in the folder and click the trash icon. Choose Remove from Folder if a menu appears, then click Remove to confirm. You can also uncheck the folder in the recording’s Add to Folder menu.
Removing a recording from a folder does not delete it. If you also have permission to delete the recording, the trash menu offers Delete Meeting for Everyone or Delete Magicast as a separate action.
As a folder Admin, click the folder’s name to open settings, then select About.
