Send a new chat message

To start a new chat:

1. Open AInbox.
2. If necessary, use the navigation menu in the top-left corner to switch to the AInbox or Activity view.
3. Click the New Message button in the top-right corner.
4. Search for and select one or more recipients.
5. Type your message.
6. Click Send.

Quick Access

You can also open the New Message composer by:

• Using the keyboard shortcut (default is ⌘N on Mac, Ctrl+N on Windows or Linux).
• Using Spotlight Search.
• Clicking on someone’s profile photo on the map.

Share into Roam from Another Mobile App

On iOS or Android, you can send links, images, and other supported content to Roam without first opening the Roam app:

1. Tap Share in the app that contains the content.
2. Choose Roam from the share sheet.
3. Select a person or Group Chat.
4. Send the content.
