Use Spotlight Search to find someone on the map

Spotlight Search is a quick way to locate and interact with anyone in your Roam, even across multiple floors. Whether you’re collaborating on a project, joining an impromptu meeting, or just want to see if someone is available, Spotlight Search makes it simple to see exactly where they are—and jump into conversation.

How to use Spotlight Search

• Open Spotlight Search using the keyboard shortcut (⌘F on Mac, Ctrl+F on Windows or Linux) or using the radar icon next to Reception.
• Type a team member’s name, and their location will be spotlighted on the map if they are present in Roam.
• A radar icon appears on someone’s office if they are in Roam but not currently in their private office. Click the radar to spotlight that person’s current location and open an interaction window with them.
