Create a recurring On-Air event
On-Air events can repeat on a schedule, so you can run a series, like a weekly webinar or a monthly briefing, from a single event page.
Note: Recurring schedules are available for virtual events only. An in-person event cannot repeat.
Set Up the Recurrence
- Create your On-Air event and click Event Date to set the start, end, and time zone.
- In the date picker, choose how often the event repeats:
- Do Not Repeat (a single event).
- Repeats Daily.
- Repeats Weekly: pick one or more weekdays the event repeats on.
- Repeats Monthly on Day N: repeats on the same calendar day each month.
- Repeats Monthly on the Nth Weekday: for example, the 3rd Thursday of each month.
- Use Every to repeat on a longer interval (for example, every 2 weeks).
- Choose when the series ends:
- After # of Times: a fixed number of dates.
- On Date: the last calendar date the event can occur.
Note: A series can include up to 100 dates. If your end date would create more, only the first 100 dates are scheduled.
Choose How Guests Register
For recurring events, a Registration setting controls how guests RSVP across the dates:
- Once for All Dates: one RSVP covers every date in the series.
- Choose Dates: guests pick which dates they will attend when they register.
Note: The Registration type cannot be changed after guests have started registering.
Editing the Series Later
- When you edit a recurring event, On-Air asks whether to Edit All Occurrences (change the whole series) or Manage Dates (one date at a time). To adjust or remove individual dates, see manage dates in a recurring On-Air event.
- You can change the schedule after the event is created, but a single event cannot be converted into a recurring series, and a recurring series cannot be converted back into a single event.
Important: Changing the series schedule regenerates the dates, which may reset changes you made to individual dates.
