Copy a link to a group chat or message

You can copy a link to a group chat or a specific message to share with others in Roam.

Copy a Link to a Group Chat

1. Open the group chat in AInbox.
2. Click the three dots at the top right corner of the conversation.
3. Select Copy Link to Group.

Note: If the group chat is public, anyone in your Roam can view and join it. If it’s private, only group members can view it. Roam admins can also join any private group.

Copy a Link to a Message

1. Open the message in AInbox.
2. Hover over the message and click the three dots.
3. Select Copy Link to Message.

Note: When a link to a chat message is shared in AInbox, a preview of the message will appear, even if the recipient wouldn’t normally have access to the message. The sender can remove this preview before or after sending the message.
