Auto-DND for Google Meet
When you’re in your Private Office and join an external Google Meet meeting, Roam can automatically set you to Do Not Disturb (DND) mode with a Meet icon.
You must be using a Mac or Linux and use the Google Meet Progressive Web App, not Chrome or another browser.
How Auto-DND for Google Meet Works
Auto-DND for Google Meet is enabled when all of the following conditions are met:
- You’re using the Roam Desktop app.
- You’re using a Mac and have granted Roam screen share permissions, or using Linux and X11 (XWayland sometimes works).
- You’re in your Private Office.
- You’re using the Google Meet Progressive Web App, not Chrome or another browser.
- You’re not already in DND mode (Roam will only switch you to Meet DND if your status is set to “Knock Required”).
