What should I do if my camera, microphone, or speaker isn’t working?

Windows PC

If you using a Windows PC and see the error message “Something went wrong when trying to use your microphone,” your microphone may be set to allow only one app to access it at a time.

Try these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

1. Open Windows Settings and go to Bluetooth & Devices. Select the microphone you want to use in Roam and click Properties. This will take you to System > Sound > Properties.
2. Uncheck “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device” and click Apply.
3. Quit and restart the Roam app.
