Start & stop Magic Minutes

Manually Start Magic Minutes

  1. Enter any meeting (such as in a private office, meeting room, or theater).
  2. In the bottom toolbar, click Magic Minutes > Record Magic Minutes button.

All meeting participants will receive a notification that Magic Minutes is active.

Important: Starting Magic Minutes does NOT include video.

Automatically Start Magic Minutes

  1. As a Roam admin, go to Settings > Roam Administration > Magic Minutes.
  2. Enable “Automatically Record Magic Minutes.”
  3. Configure which room types, specific rooms and floors, and user groups that should be included or excluded for automatic recording.

Stopping Magic Minutes

  1. When in a meeting, in the bottom toolbar click “Recording” Magic Minutes.
  2. Click either “Stop Magic Minutes” or “Stop and Shred” to discard the Magic Minutes recording.
