Collaborate using a media board
The Media Board is a shared space that appears in meetings where you can display text, images, video, and other files for everyone to see. Simply add text cards or upload images, videos, or PDFs, and they’ll appear on the board for all participants. You can pause, play, or scrub through media items as needed, and anyone in the room can view them in real time. This makes it easy to showcase visuals, share reference materials, or collaborate on creative ideas.
Getting Started
- Click Share from the bottom toolbar.
- Either select New Media Board, or scroll down to the Recent Items section and select an existing Media Board.
- Drag and drop files onto the board, or use the upload button.
Everyone in the room sees your changes immediately, so you can discuss or review as a group. When you leave the meeting, the media board remains accessible if you return to the same room.
In an office, click the pop-out arrow in the top-right corner of the media board to open it in its own window. This makes it easy to move the board to another monitor or keep it visible while working elsewhere in Roam.
