About You

You are graduating soon or have graduated a couple of years ago. Or you are a college drop out like some of us at Roam. Maybe some billionaire paid you $100k to drop out. You’re pretty sure you want to found your own company someday. But you don’t have a great idea yet, and you want to learn a bit from some masters before embarking upon your own journey.

You know you want to build something great but you also know you need to learn how to get the word out to build a successful company. You want to learn the art of sales and marketing.

We want to hear from you.

Roam is seeking S-tier individuals who know they are destined for a different path but not quite ready for complete independence. You have strong technical skills (maybe you have a CS or EE degree or even a PhD). But you’re not going to code all day. You’re more interested in the world of action than the world of ideas. Maybe you excelled at a sport. You want to get out there and make stuff happen. You have high agency. You have great product sense. You trust your intuition and are analytical but you get out there and learn by doing. You want to talk to customers and bring new ideas to reality in the hands of actual people.

Entrepreneurs at Roam build markets, continuously honing product-market fit. You may, for example, be asked to build a customer referral program emulating Tesla’s. You’d quickly design the program, incentives, system, and then you’d make it happen by talking to customers and evangelizing and driving results until it is mature. Or perhaps you’d be asked to boot up the Financial Services market. You’d figure out how to segment the market. You’d grab testimonials from existing customers. You’d write thought leadership on how these companies are succeeding. You’d meet with partner developers to design industry-specific AI Agents to make sure you’re delivering the best product. You’d sign up an advisor to help with intros. You’d hit up the major conferences. You’d figure out how to design and run TikTok ads targeting Mortgage Brokers. Maybe you’d be asked to figure out how to run a foreign country like Mexico or Dubai.

You learn fast and you do whatever it takes to boot up the business and support customers and partners. You do anything and everything to make shit happen.

You better be energized by talking to Founders and CEOs and AI experts - because your calendar is going to quickly fill up with meetings with Roam’s amazing prospects and customers from around the world.

You will work very closely with our Founder & CEO Howard Lerman, including attending a daily meeting with the core team.
