Outlook Calendar Integration

In Roam, we have created a suite of powerful tools integrated directly into Microsoft 365 to easily and successfully manage internal and external meetings. This guide will help your company’s System Administrator set up the Microsoft 365 Integration for your organization so that your employees can schedule Roam Meetings in their Outlook Calendar.

Please note, in order to complete the Microsoft 365 Integration below, you must be a Roam Admin and a Microsoft 365 Admin.

Go to Settings > Roam Administration > Calendar:

Select “Microsoft 365” as your Calendar provider and click Grant Permissions.

This will open a new browser tab. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 Admin account and click “Accept” to accept the requested Roam Meetings Permissions:

Back in Roam Settings > Roam Administration > Calendar > Members Calendar Sync, click Start Sync. This will sync each persons’ individual 365 calendar with Roam:

Click the “Get it from Microsoft AppSource” to install the Roam Meetings Add-In for your organization:

From the Microsoft AppSource page, click “Get it now”:

Then, choose the users for whom you would like to deploy the calendar add-in. This will install the add-in for your entire organization or specific users/groups:

Accept permissions requests by clicking Next:

Then click Finish Deployment to complete the Microsoft 365 Integration:
